Professor, Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Republic of Korea
Welcome! I am a professor of astronomy at Ewha Womans University in Seoul. I received my Ph.D. in astronomy from the Ohio State University in 2008 and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center (IPAC) at the California Institute of Technology. My primary area of research focuses on the formation and evolution of the Milky Way Galaxy. To better understand the Galaxy's formation and evolution, I utilize large observational data sets to study the properties of old stars in the Galactic halo.
